The Mission of Long Educational Consulting, LLC (DBA-Long2Learn), is to provide high quality, God-centered professional development and training services to Christian educators in K-12 Christian and Home School Instructional Programs.
Long Educational Consulting, LLC would like to welcome you to Long2Learn, our instructional training and online course learning platform. The Long Educational Consulting, LLC component provides in-person and online workshops, staff training, and professional development. Our online webinars, courses, and blogs are delivered specifically under our trade name, Long2Learn.
We are educators with years of experience in providing Christian and secular educators with:
- high-impact administrative and instructor professional development
- content area unit and lesson plan training
- flexible online courses that are credit-bearing and non-credit bearing
- Flexible online courses that provide learning opportunities created to advance teaching and learning
While our courses, professional development, and staff training are thoughtfully crafted with a Christian worldview, the foundational teaching strategies, skills, and pedagogical approaches are deeply rooted in evidence-based research. This approach ensures that educational methodologies effectively adapt to secular environments, fostering equality and mutual respect. With more than 60 years of committed service in both Christian and public-school education, the Long2Learn team of Christian educators have the administrative expertise, pedagogical knowledge, and research-based experience to meet instructional and administrative needs. Courses are tailored to inspire and reenergize the seasoned teacher, as well as to address the pedagogical classroom demands of the beginning teacher.
Your Attractive Heading
While most courses will be held in a virtual format, some will include remote opportunities to meet with Instructors and classmates. Courses will be offered during the Summer (June, July and August) and in the Fall (September, October, November). Mandatory virtual meeting dates, course requirements, and other pertinent class details are highlighted in the course syllabus.
Credit bearing course offerings are designed to meet the teacher accreditation and certification requirements for faith-based Christian school educators. All courses emphasize the importance of viewing teaching and learning through a Biblical lens. This indicates that life’s challenges, events, and daily occurrences are taught from a Biblical Worldview perspective. Courses provide professional growth and enrichment for Christian educators who desire to sharpen and refine their craft.
All credit bearing courses (CEU and CPD) have gone through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and/or Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) approval process. We are approved course providers and look forward to assisting you in obtaining certification or certification renewal for your school or district.
