Long Educational Consulting, LLC is located in Prince George’s County Maryland. Long Educational Consulting (LEC) provides high quality professional development to Administrators, teachers, and paraprofessionals who seek to enrich or improve their administrative and instructional skills. Face-to-face and virtual services provided include grade level instructional training, educational webinars, Administrator Needs Consultations, and hands-on educational workshops to faith-based and public school educators.
Long2Learn (L2L), a division of Long Educational Consulting, is our platform for providing engaging research-based online courses. Long2Learn courses are facilitated by instructors who implement the blended learning (asynchronous and synchronous) approach. Courses offered through Long2Learn meet certification renewal requirements and have been approved by the Association for Christian Schools International (ACSI) and/or Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).
The following courses have been approved for credit by the Maryland State Department of Education. Click on the course link for information pertaining to courses that are open for enrollment.

The CPD, Enrichment and Growth, and CEU Course Listings are available on the MSDE, Long2Learn, and ACSI websites.
- Courses are offered 2 times a year (Fall and Summer)
- Summer semester runs July – August
- Fall semester runs October – January
- During the regular school year, classes are usually held two evenings per week, (between hours 6pm-8pm)
- During the summer semester, classes are usually daylong or about 6 hours per day.
- Classes are not held on holidays or the evening before a holiday, Mondays or Fridays.
- What is the duration of each course?
- 1-credit course = 15 hours of instruction
- 2-credit course = 30 hours of instruction
- 3-credit course = 45 hours of instruction
The Long2Learn Online system provides an effective method for registration. Simply visit the courses info page and select the desired course to enroll.
Enrollment continues until class has reached maximum enrollment or until 2 days prior to when the class starts, if space is available.
Long2Learn will e-mail a message confirming your enrollment and a reminder one week prior to the start of the class.
Yes, you may be dropped from a course if stated policies and guidelines are violated or not followed. Long2Learn will notify you of your removal from the course. The student portal will be the primary place of communication between the enrollee and lecturer.
If a participant misses more than the maximum number of hours listed below, s/he will not be able to make up the work and will not receive credit.
- 1 credit course – 1 hour (With the instructor’s permission.)
- 2 credit course – 3 hours
- 3 credit course – 6 hours
Credit or no credit is given based on attendance and completion of assignments.
- The instructor indicates if the participant is to receive credit or no credit.
- The instructor indicates attendance for all participants in the Long2Learn platform.
